4 months

Bella -

You are 4 months old! I can not believe how old you are! (And how fast these months are flying by!!!)

You just went to the doctor for your check up and here are your stats:
13 lbs 3.8 oz - up almost 3 lbs! Way to go!!!
24.5 inches - only an 1.5 as opposed to the whopping 4 last time...though I swear you had just gone thru a growth spurt. I'm not worried about your height and neither is your doctor. In fact, he made a comment that you are growing great!!!

In the last month:
You have mastered sleeping in. (you appear to take after your daddy with that..) You will sleep 10+ hours at night if we will let you. Unfortunately, you only really get to do that on the weekends.
You are giggling and laughing (except when the camera is rolling..).
You are still eating 6 oz bottles...probably because mom and dad haven't made you bigger bottles. You seem content with that. You typically eat 5 bottles a day.
You have started helping mom and dad hold your bottle and will even hold it all by yourself. You still prefer that mommy and daddy do it for you though.
You love to smile and seem to always have one on your face.
You have tried the bumpo and exersaucer this month and seem to like both.
You would much rather be sitting up rather than laying. You are also starting to enjoy standing on laps. Daddy says you pulled up from sitting to standing without his help (other than holding his hands..). I believe it!
You talk to us so much especially at bed time. You come by it naturally... I have a feeling it won't be long til you are really talking our heads off (and we will actually understand it!)
You had your first Christmas and New Years...(though you might not have realized it!) You received lots of presents, hugs, and kisses (all of which you enjoyed!!). You got to see all of your grandparents and great-grandparents in a whirlwind trip that your mommy and daddy made you make. Don't worry, modifications will occur before next years jaunt..all in all, a good time was had.

I'm sure there were many more exciting things, but mommy is having a hard time remembering them..they say that is a result of being a mommy...

I can't believe we have changed seasons twice since you were born. We have changed years as well. You have had your first major holidays and experience the craziness of the Womack family holidays as well as the craziness of trying to do stuff with all the families in a week! You were such a champ with all of it! You love all of your family and are good at being passed amongst all of them.

You have changed us so much and we are so thankful to have you in our lives. A year ago, we were praying and hoping for you (not knowing for a few more days that you were already developing). Now you are here lighting up our lives and moods! You are such a joy and it's hard to be anything but happy when you are around! It is hard to believe how much you have grown and changed not only in the last 4 months, but also in the last month. Your personality shines through a little more each day and we are loving to get to know you. You talk and smile and laugh as we hope you will for years and years! No matter how much you grow and change, you will always be my sweet baby girl! I love you so much!
