Just a quick update from the road. Yes, I realize it is almost 11. We are almost at our destination.
Baby J is 24 weeks today. It feels like yesterday (or 10 weeks ago) that we were finally spilling the beans to the world. It is flying by. All I want to do is treasure this time (well the parts that don't include kidney stones and stints). I love the random movements and flips and kicks. I love knowing that I'm providing her shelter and security. She doesn't seem to mind my food choices, yet that is. I finally seem to be hungry. I think it's a mixture of my body saying it's ready for happy days as well as how fast she is growing. I also feel like I finally look pregnant. There is no longer any question.. And it feels like it really just happened in the last week or so.... Go Figure!
I still have a long list of things to accomplish in a short time. They go something like....book maternity pictures, book the 4-D ultrasound, buy tickets to visit my brother and sister in law, finish cleaning out the baby's closet, and pick out the fabric for the bedding. The good thing is that a large portion of my list has been completed like ordering baby furniture, setting up the crib. Okay well it feels like a large portion. Oh I still need to register...Argh. Ohh well! We will get it all done sooner or later.
So that's my random thoughts about 24 weeks while riding in a car in TX. Maybe one day I'll be coherent....
