Grandma's birthday is today (though she is celebrating it from Heaven). In honor of her and her birthday, I figured I would share with you the name we have chosen for our Baby Girl....
Isabelle Lorraine
Lorraine is my grandmother's middle name. It is only fitting that her first greatgranddaughter (by blood) should share her name. I can only wonder what Grandma would say. I have a feeling there would be tears involved (but they may just be on my part). It has been somewhat difficult being pregnant and not having her around to share this joy with. I can't tell you the number of times that I've wanted to call or go visit her and tell her about her great granddaughter.
I know, though, that she is in Heaven smiling and laughing and sharing this experience with us. It's just hard especially since she has been there for everything up until now. She even held on to see us move back to home. I love her and miss her. However, I am happy that she has been healed and is getting to spend time with her Heavenly Father.
It felt fitting that we would announce Isabelle's name on such an important day.
Happy Birthday Grandma! We love you and miss you!!!!
